Evening! Hi, Im Sebastian, and Im an alc.. uh... er... Whoops. Wrong forum, sorry. What I meant to say is that Im running for Baron of Crimson Moon! Yeah, thats it. If youre thinking right now; But Bas, why should I vote for you? Youre mean! Then you are being waaaay nicer than I expected... So why vote for me? Because reasons, thats why! 1.) I have a plan. That plan involves RP and Travel. Thats right, a reign-long theme for our little corner of insanity that coincides with the Kingdoms RP (sorta). We have a Pirate Queen coming to the throne! Damned if I let that stand!! (and I voted for her... lol). Rather than go with the tides, we, the Province of Crimson Moon, shall constitute what could aptly be likened to the historical entity known as the EAST INDIA TRADING CO. ... Lets go Pirate Hunting!!! That said, pirate hunting is a dangerous and possibly even lucrative business. We cannot simply wait here for pirates to amass their strength and come calling upon our shores! We must go forth and find them, surprise them, and hang them! In other words, I want to mobilize the Crimson Moon Militia to travel at least once per month to the other chapters of the Wetlands. Are you up to it? Can you summon your courage to go and fight in other lands? Well, pack it up, buttercup, were going Pirate Hunting! 2.) I am excited for our populace. The passion and drive Ive seen in our new players is awesome. One thing is lacking, however, and that is the leadership needed to guide our youngsters on the beginning stages of their (hopefully) long Amtgard careers. I think I can be the one to unify CM behind several common goals and give these guys and girls a strong foundation to build upon. Of all the members of CM, I have the most leadership experience, have seen the rise and falls of CM over the years, and have a plethora of information, wisdom, and experiences from all over this organization to bring to bare. In other words... I know what Im doing. 3.) Rules: Yes, Im perfectly willing to admit that Im possibly the worst in CM when it comes to V8. However, I believe that my lack of knowledge of the current rules set will not hinder my ability to lead you all. Should a situation arise that I must act within the capacity of Baron for a rules dispute, I shall always have a hard copy of the V8 ruleset handy with me at park. 4.) Lastly, so that I dont take up too much more of your time; I would like to address your reservations based on my reputation of being crass or a little rough. Katzu probably said it best when he said Love him or hate him, you cant deny his results. John is not the one to give you fluffy-bunny compliments and soft encouraging words to help you up the hill. Hes going to outwit, out play, and outlast everyone else up the hill, and then turn to ask you what the hell your problem is. (paraphrased quote). Come climb the hill with me, ya bilge rats!
