Everyday before I get out of bed in the morning I ask The Lord to direct my steps. Place me where I can witness and be a blessing to someone whos in need. Today the Lord did the same for me. After church we went to a local restaurant to get some lunch. While waiting I struck up a conversation with a couple sitting next to me. They told me where they lived and I told them Yes I know where it is, I go through there on my way to the cemetery where my dad and family is buried. He then asked my dads name. I said Rolla Martin not expecting a response. He said Rolla Martin who sang with Donald McCool, Joe & Phyllis Williams as the Harmony Echoes? My jaw dropped and tears began to fill my eyes. You see, dads been gone 35 years. Its hard these days to find someone who knew him or the gospel group he sang with. As this man began to tell me story after story my spirit was lifted and I realize God had surprised me today with a sweet gift. The gift of someone blessing me with my daddys memory. Wow its was awesome. Thank you Lord. You always know just what I need. And thank you Bro and Sister Clark from Pittsburg. God bless!!!!
