FATE CAN BE CHANGED !!! ======================== (Because every future moment is DARK AGE) ====================================== (Ref.: Dhamma periodical “Yug-Udbodhan” July 2002) Yuan Liuchuang was an expert fortune-teller. He could tell a person’s fate from the lines on his palm or the shape of his nose. Once a very powerful government official brought his son to Yuan to have his fortune fold. Yuan knew immediately that a few years later, the little boy would die. He told the official. Of course the official was heart-broken. On his way home, he ran in to a monk, who asked,” Why do you look so sad? The official explained that he had just had bad news from a fortune-teller. The monk examined the little boy and looked in to his fate. He told the boy’s father, “The only way to save your little boy is through hidden virtue, the most convenient way is through releasing animals. That way you can build hidden virtue, which will protect your son.” Right away, the official make up his mind never to kill again and to release trapped animals. He worked hard for several years, but when he saw the monk again, the monk said, “Not enough! You have not created enough good karma, so you still can’t save your son.” The father worked even harder to save animals. Whenever there was an opportunity to do something for other, man or beast, he was the first to donate time and money. In this way, he saved innumerable lives, and when his son reached the year in which he was fated to die, he lived and grew in to a fine young man. Yuan Liuchang heard about this. From then on, whenever he saw that someone’s fortune was bad, he told that person to do good and to save lives. In this way, many people who should have died miserably lived long lives, and many people who should have been poor became rich instead. Since then, he ceased fore-telling and followed suit path of the monk. My (Chakradhar Hadke’s) comment : In view of the above the saying … i.e. Samay ke pahale aur Bhagya se jyada kisiko kucch nahi milta. ….i.e… Nobody gets more than his luck and before time. This is foolish and speculative proverb from “Geeta” … The Hindu script. The above statement is crystal clear that any thing happen in future time because future time is DARK AGE. As such anything can be possible. If we are harmonious to Input … Process, then expected result can be possible. (IPO… INPUT ..PROCESS…. OUTPUT). Buddha’s Dhamma believes this IPO i.e. similar to Cause and Effect Relationship. This is the main difference between Buddhism and other religions on the earth. Don’t believe who tells us about our future. These future tellers earn money in crores without perspiration. They are parasites. So beware of them. Please remember, “Our ignorance is their business”. In America if suppose any future teller predicts and seek money from the person. And if the future-teller’s prediction would appear wrong, then the future teller has to return the person’s amount. Having been so, Astrology doesn’t grow/ mushroom there, because the future-tellers get afraid, because they their-selves don’t know their own future.
