FEAR NOT < “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” LUKE 12: 32 I’ll say it again; “this world is dark and scary.” Jesus says: “don’t be afraid, little flock.” He also said, “seek first the kingdom.” We have a tendency to worry about things such as food, money, health, etc. The world takes great store in such things. Again, Jesus says to not be afraid. That is sometimes a hard thing to do, especially when you have bill-collectors knocking at the door, or you’re not sure where you’re next meal is going to come from. You see when we seek His Kingdom, all these things will be given to us (Luke 12: 31). Just as God delivered manna to the Israelites in the desert, He will provide for you also. I remember a time when my funds were very low and I wasn’t sure if I could make it. While looking in the check book one day; I saw that I had more funds than I thought I had. Was there a mistake? I called the bank and they said that it was correct. I am very careful at keeping track of my funds and that episode could only have been God. So the next time you are in dire-straights, remember to seek first His kingdom and those things will be given. Lord, may we never forget that You provide all things. Have a wonderful day.
