FINDING THE GOD OF MERCY : To you, O Lord, I called; to the Lord I cried for Mercy. [Psalm 30 v 8 ~ NIV]. Whilst crises happen to most people, if not all, how they deal with them varies from one to another. Some people cave in and go to pieces. Others turn bitter and hard. The psalm-writer was shaken out of his complacency by what happened. And it brought him face to face with God. With his self-sufficient optimism destroyed he confessed to being afraid. And in his fear he did the best thing anyone can ever do : he threw himself on the mercy of God. Whatever the nature of your darkest hour, use it as an opportunity to turn to God. Throw yourself on Gods mercy and you will find Him. Your disaster or setback, if you respond to it positively, can become a turning point in which you rise to a new level of fellowship with God. My Prayer : Almighty God, O Lord in Your mercy find us and fill us with Your grace! AMEN and AMEN! SHALOM!
