FREE Food Defense webinar is Nov. 12. The safety of our food supply is an important part of food security and protection. Federal agencies have a number of requirements that deal with “food defense” that should be understood by those wanting to be involved in feeding people. The idea of protecting our foods from intentional tampering, terroristic threats or other deliberate actions is an important part of our food sovereignty and is often ignored or misunderstood. This session will discuss “food defense” and the principles behind it, and how best to deal with those requirements.
