Far too often I meet with people in our church that tell me “I - TopicsExpress

Far too often I meet with people in our church that tell me “I will never make any difference”. This my friends is a statement so full of unbelief and untruths that it astounds me to hear Christians speak it. You may feel insignificant and you may in the world’s eyes appear insignificant but in Jesus you can do things that were frankly impossible for you to accomplish humanly speaking. First each of us must come to grips with spiritual reality, He must do the work in me and through me, it is not me doing the work it is His Spirit working out His life in me. I am a vessel a pipeline, so what is it that the pipeline does? Lets see does it go get the water? No. Does it pump the water? No. Does the pipeline drill for water? No. All the pipeline does is sit and remain open to the water flowing through. You and I friends are pipelines for Jesuss life to flow thru. As we saw in John 15, He is the vine and I am the branch. The branch does no work it only hangs onto the vine. The vine, the roots, does all the work searching for nutrients and water to feed the branch. So how can the branch not make a difference if it is connected to the vine? And how can a believer in Jesus not make a difference if they are connected to Him? Philippians 2:13 is a verse many of us ought to memorize; “…For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” God is at work in you! Wow He is feeding life into you so you can make a difference in this world. He will put His will in you, His desires to love and care for others in us and then He will work it in us, please get this part. He will work His good pleasure in us to become world changers. Please shed the lie that you don’t count, that your life will never make a difference and let Him do His work in and through you. SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY: EPHESIANS 3:20-21 “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” ~Pastor Dan Carroll pressinginwol/?p=3912
