Father, thank you for being the kind of God that we can come to when not everything is perfect. Well, lets be honest, when everything is a complete mess. We can come to you begging, screaming, and pouring out our soul! Today, let us follow the example of Hannah in the Bible who said, I was pouring out my soul to the Lord (1 Samuel 15b). She had the guts to take her pity party and whining to the feet of the One that could actually do something about it. She desperately desired a son, and through her tears begged God. God, let us be brave enough to POUR OUT OUR SOUL like Hannah and ask for the one thing that we desire more than anything else. She prayed, Oh Lord, Almighty if you will only look upon your servants misery and remember me and not forget your servant, but give her a ______, then I will give him (it) to the Lord for all the days of his life (1 Samuel 1:11).
