Financial Management Lesson #247 A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing hers when the door-bell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs down stairs. She opens the door and Bob the next door neighbour is there. Before she says a word Bob says Ill give you $800.00 to drop that towel The woman thinks for a moment, drops the towel and stands naked for a few seconds. Bob hands her the $800.00 and leaves. The woman wraps herself in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom her husband asks who was that? It was Bob our neighbour Oh good says the man, did he say anything about the $800.00 he owes me? Lesson from the story: If you share critical information about your finances with the people involved you can protect yourself from unnecessary exposure.
