However, additional weightage during the interview will be given to the candidates having knowledge of swimming and diving. 20-24 Yrs 2 Sub-Officer (Female) 02 3 Fireman 101 Higher Secondary (Science) pass or equivalent examination from recognized Board/Institution. However, additional weightage during the interview will be given to the candidates having knowledge of swimming and diving. 18- 25 Yrs 4 Emergency Rescuer 13 Pay Scale : Rs.5,200 – 20,200/- Physical Standards & Medical Standard : Post Name Height Chest Physical Standards Sub-0fficer (Male) - The minimum height for the candidate should not less than 162.56 cm but in case of candidates belonging to ST – (H) and ST – (P) the minimum height should be 160.02 cm. - 80 cm in normal position and 85 cm in expansion for General, OBC/MOBC, S/C and S.T.(P), but in case of candidates belonging to ST – (H) minimum chest should be 78 cm in normal position and 83 Cm in expansion. Fireman Emergency Rescuer Sub-Officer (Female) The minimum height for the candidate should not less than 154.94 cm but in case of candidates belonging to ST – (H) and ST – (P) the minimum height should be 152.40 cm. -- Medical Standard General Candidates must not have squint in eyes, and they should possess high colour vision. Varicose vein shall be considered a temporary disqualification. They must be in good mental and bodily health. They must be free from any physical deformity and free from diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory problem or any other ailment that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. Eye Sight The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Near vision should be normal.
