First run of the year!! Im being all happy and optimistic now as it was at lunchtime, but I was truly rattled by it. After almost a month (Christmas started early for me!) of no running, myself and the lads did our regular disgustingly hilly Parkwest run. I was like a baby deer, no wait, baby elephant (ha!) literally pounding the pavement. My ass was carrying a bit more than it should have been too! I plodded through it and didnt make a great time. To be honest I was just glad to be back out and complete the run without stopping! And the post run buzz you get is just totally worth it!
