Florida Realtors President Sherri Meadows today accepted an award from Jaimie Ross, president of the Florida Housing Coalition, in recognition of the Florida Realtors advocacy for housing trust funds. Florida Realtors has a longstanding history of advocating for housing funding for Floridians at all income levels. These efforts include being an active partner on the Sadowski Coalition; and, in this years legislative session, working to secure the largest increase in state funding for housing in seven years. Ms. Ross commended the organization for its longstanding efforts on housing and also recognized the leadership of President Sherri Meadows for building further awareness of Floridians who are experiencing homelessness. The award was presented at the 27th annual statewide Affordable Housing Conference in Orlando.
