For Mac users out there... Just upgraded to Yosemite (new OS, free from the Mac App Store). It is absolutely gorgeous! Took about 45 minutes to complete everything, seems to have gone without a hitch. Then updated all associated apps. That took about 15 minutes. For those still using Aperture... That also, thankfully, went smoothly... Everything works, including my backups (took only about 5 seconds for each backup library to configure for Yosemite and then each library backed up as normal. Had to download Java so that Photoshop would work... Im still on CS5). Exploring now, was even able to make a normal phone call from desktop (computer connects to iPhone automatically, but you dont have to touch iPhone at all... Just talk through computer). iTunes is beautiful... All my music, including iTunes radio stations connecting flawlessly with AppleTV in living room. Also, Safari is just plain elegant.
