For anyone who is interested here is a little routine to help with muscle growth for the Pectorals. Always remember to fully warm up before any exercise session, and if required seek professional advice prior to activity. Lets get the adrenalin pumping with a warm up on the punch bags. Start with gentle uppercuts & left & right crosses at 30% effort (your level of ability) for 2 mins. Then increase intensity to 50% for another 2 mins, followed by 70% effort again 2 mins. Now bring it down to 50% effort for 90 secs. Take a break of 1 minute and shake it all out, get the blood pumping around the shoulders, traps, back and biceps. Then go into your chest routine, an example could consist of: Incline Dumbbell bench press Decline Dumbbell bench press Full Dips Pec Deck Flyes. I suggest 4 sets of 8 reps, and a 1 minute rest between each set. Take on plenty of water and work at a comfortable weight. Finally cool down on the punch bags with light work for 5 mins. Followed by a stretch routine.
