For my ARIZONA friends: The primary election date this year is August 26, 2014 the registration deadline for the Primary Election is July 28,2014 at midnight. You need to vote in the Primary Election to get the best Democratic, best Republican and best Independent candidates on the November 4th ballot. The makeup of the Legislature is pretty much determined during the Primary Election. This year we also have state officers on the ballot. If you want candidates that are supportive of education you need to vote in the August 26th Primary Election so that we have candidates to vote for who support education on the November 4th General Election Ballot. In many legislative districts the winners of the primary are virtually guaranteed a seat at the Capitol. If you are not registered to vote get registered today.
