For those who dont know yet, we finished in FOURTH PLACE today, with 359 points!! It was a solid 4th, too, and not too far (about 60 points) from 3rd!! In the 7 years Ive been with the team, we have finished in 6th place every year, with one exception - 5th place - 3 years ago, so this is a big deal! Note that after the 10 and Under session this morning, we were tied for 3rd place!! All the coaches were so proud of all our swimmers! So many (and relay teams, too!) dropped time and had personal bests! We won heat after heat and we consistently had several swimmers in the fastest heats (thats different from years past!). It was a great day and were already thinking about things we can do next year to improve even more. Oh, and we got a special nod from the Mayors office, for breathing new life into the city swim program! Thats pretty cool! Everyone should be very proud of our performance today and ALL SEASON long!
