Friends, it has been one HECK OF A DAY...but instead of going over all the thorns...I would like to share the sweet blossoms of blessings.. Phoenix and Phoebe are still here with me and Phoenix is getting a healthy appetite and things are moving through at a much better pace...most likely from the special foods and supplements he is on, so very hopeful that with the surgery soon to be scheduled at the state vet clinic that all will go well and he will live a long, happy life. Though the 8 new pups are all sick, they are learning trust rather quickly. I was blessed to have vaccines here for all 8 pups and Garth, the black lab pup I rescued on Monday. 4 kennels were set up today with the help of 3 friends (thank you Jeanna, Yvette and friend). I finished placing pavers in one tonight and will move one of the dogs out of their current 10x10 tomorrow and place into that one and use his/her 10x10 for the 8 new wee puppies. I had food here to fill every bowl tonight, meds and supplements to give to my hospital patients. I received so many warm hugs and soft kisses from so many of my furkids throughout the day and Necies pups made me laugh as they kept getting eye to eye with me, looking for the treat that was supposed to be hanging out of my mouth. So darn adorable !! God and Dog(s) gave me the strength to get through one more day. I believe my bath water is cold, but it will warm up or I will take a QUICK BATH and then eat dinner in bed and hopefully sleep tonight and God willing, wake up and do it all again tomorrow.
