Friends, my niece, Julie, has not seen her children since January 2012 when her ex-husband took them to Germany on a voluntary military assignment. Julie has a SC Family Court order in hand awarding her custody of her children for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and most of the summer, effective the day they get out of their school (June 14). Up to now, her ex has defied the court order and not brought the children home for any of the other holidays to see their mother. All it would take for these children to be reunited with their mother for the coming weeks of summer is one order from his commander. All it would take for his commander to make the order would be one order from Gen.
