Frontiers in Modern Biology 2013 (FIMB 2013) - National Symposium at IISER, Kolkata The Department of Biological sciences, IISER Kolkata is organizing a national symposium on Frontiers in Modern Biology 2013 (FIMB 2013) at IISER Kolkata’s Mohanpur campus on November 9th & 10th, 2013. The symposium will comprise invited talks by eminent scientists along with a student poster/platform presentation session. The symposium will cover diverse areas of modern biology such as cell & molecular biology, structural biology, biophysics, ecology and behavioural sciences. We are looking forward to two days of great talks, engaging discussion and networking opportunities with researchers across India in an informal setting. The organizers of FIMB 2013 invite abstracts for poster and platform presentations. Each abstract will be screened by a review committee prior to selection. Please note that slots for platform presentation are limited, so each author should be prepared to present a poster. Abstract submission deadline is September 15th, 2013 and the selection confirmation will be sent soon after that. Abstract authors are required to register to participate in FIMB 2013.
