Funny story from yesterday: On the way home from my gig I got pulled over by a cop, almost right outside my house! With the accompanying flashing light show Im thinking The neighbours will love this spectacle. If you know me well you know I dont like driving with shoes on and in the spring, summer and fall I dont wear socks and I slouch a bit, so Ive got one eye on the mirror and Im scrambling to sit up a little and slip on my loafers as I think it might be illegal to drive without shoes in Ontario? I dont want him to look in, see bare feet and bust me for it. The first shoe goes on the wrong foot but I see him coming, no time to change so as Im sitting there with both shoes on the wrong feet I hope he doesnt notice and hope he doesnt make me get out of the car and look like a duck! Can I see your licence, registration and insurance, maam. Maam? Dammit Melanie at this point Im thinking maybe I do need that haircut Norikos been nagging < ;) about? I look at him as I hand him the documentation. Sorry sir, he says. (Thats right buddy, there aint no women around here this funny looking)
