GAUTENG DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE POST: DEPUTY DIRECTOR: EMPLOYEE RELATIONS REF-05473 Centre: Johannesburg Directorate: Employee Relations Salary: R630 822 per annum (all inclusive remuneration package) REQUIREMENTS: A relevant & related degree/diploma or equivalent. HR Centre of excellence experience, consulting in Employee Relations Management, Public Sector experience and a minimum of three to five years relevant experience. DUTIES: Duties include conducting fact findings, concluding of misconduct investigations, prepare witnesses, lead evidence in misconduct hearings and chairing disciplinary hearings in accordance with regulatory time frames; manage precautionary suspensions in accordance with regulatory framework, draft charges and write reports on the outcome of investigations and hearings. Quality assurance of misconduct outcome reports and charge sheets. Adhere to regulatory time frames and success rate of disputes handled. Oversee compliance with Service Level Agreements and Letters of Engagement. Compiling month end reports and evidentiary portfolios. Must have people management and empowerment and customer management skills; give budget input and also be able to handle internal financial controls, be able to facilitate learning to capacitate client departments, give advice regarding labour related matters.
