GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION!!! Stay Committed “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)God is into developing our character and shaping us into the image of Christ. This can be painful as He causes us to let go of wrong views, false belief systems, destructive habits, wrong responses and causes us to face the truth of who we have allowed ourselves to become. He doesn’t do this to our hurt or shame, but for our benefit. As any loving parent, God has growth and maturity in mind for us, and if it requires pain, some having to let go, telling us “no”, or closing a door, He will allow it. What we must do is appreciate His sovereign wisdom and continue to pursue Him still. Don’t let the actions of others, or feelings of self-pity cause you to walk away from what God has called you to do. Stay in the fight! Stay committed! He will be your strength! You were born for such a time as this! Continue to let God accomplish in you what He desires and keep moving forward in being a blessing in this earth for God’s glory alone.Prayer: Father God, You are my God. I fix my eyes on You right now. Shape me and mold me into the image of Jesus. I receive Your strength and wisdom now to continue to move forward fighting the good fight of faith.
