GO DEAF Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble. - Yehuda Berg Some frogs were hopping carelessly through the woods, when two of them suddenly fell into a deep pit. Soon, the other frogs gathered around the pit. Seeing how deep the pit was, they advised the two frogs to give up and die. Nevertheless, the two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the pit with all of their might. After several attempts to jump out failed, one of the frogs took heed to the others advise and gave up. However, the other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. While, the others yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. Instead he kept jumping and harder too, and finally it made it out. When he got out, the other frogs were amazed, Didnt you hear us? They queried. The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time. With 2014, almost over, and un-met expectations everywhere in your life, its only natural for one to assume that nothing significant can happen again. Especially when it appears like nothing significant has happened for you from January till now. Friends must have encouraged you to quit. Nothing significant can happen for you in 41 days, some must have said. I like to say to you, youre not a project if God made everything in 6 days, your expectations are too infinitesimal for God to do in 41days. Beloved, like that frog, you have to go deaf on negativity and hold on to Gods promises to you for this year. By human understanding and calculation its finished, but who is he that decrees a thing and it comes to pass when the Lord hasnt said so? Whose report will you believe? If God promised, He will fulfill it. No matter the depth of that pit of un-met expectations, be careful what you say. Dont speak words that can rob you of the drive to continue. Draw faith from Gods promises. It AINT over!!!
