Medical camp for advanced treatment of kidney stones GM Advanced Urology and Kidney Institute of Ganesamoni Multi-specialty hospital is conducting a free medical camp on 7th and 8th of June 2014 for the benefit of poor patients suffering from kidney stone disease. Kidney stones are very common in South Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Ours being a tertiary care center for the treatment of kidney problems, conducting such free camps will be of immense benefit for the local population. Free Check-up camp for patients with Urological Problems: A free check-up camp was conducted at the Advanced Urology Center in Ganesamoni Hospital on 1st of December 2013. More than 60 patients benefited in this camp. The patients were provided free Urology consultation and underwent free testing of renal function, diabetes screening, hypertension screening, urine examination, renal ultrasound, uroflowmetry and PSA testing. Appropriate free medicines were distributed. In line with the hospitals policy of compassionate healthcare, it was announced that free Urology consultation will be provided for poor patients in the future also. Foundation Day 2013: Ganesamoni Hospital has served South India since 1983; its started functioning on 20th October 1983. It was expanded to a 50-bedded hospital in 1985.
