(IRIN) - Athletes, actors, singers, journalists and even the Fire Department of Alcorcón (Madrid) have been adding to the campaign # MedulaParaMateo, looking to get a donor for two months small child suffering from leukemia - and by extension for many other children -. Thus, athletes Pau Gasol, Jose Calderon, Jorge Garbajosa, Rafa Nadal, Feliciano Lopez, Fernando Torres, Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata, Ricky Rubio, singer Dani Martin, journalist Ana Pastor, actress Ana Milan or Alba model Carrillo, among other celebrities, have shown their support to Matthew through his official social media profiles and the publication of pictures with the hashtag # MedulaParaMateo. The initiative, which seeks marrow donors, has achieved in less than 24 hours to collect more than 55,000 visits to the website medulaparamateo and 200 comments. In addition, social networks, with exposure to more than 12 million users, have managed to mobilize a greater number of people and the profile of the campaign on Twitter (@ medulaparamateo) already has 1,300 followers and over 40,500 mentions of # MedulaParaMateo.
