Geez, I had a discussion with a guy this weekend who does photography as a hobby and sometimes does paid work ... NOW - I have no problem with that at all (his work is actually pretty darn good.) But once we got onto the subject of post processing the normal question of Are you using Photoshop? arose. Again I find out that here is a guy using a hacked version of Photoshop. ONCE Again - I dont have too much hassle with that as a lot of times someone using a hacked version buys the packages in the end. But what does irritate me is that this guy puts a copyright/watermark on all his work and got worked up when I asked him if he would mind if some magazine or some web guy copied one of his shots. My point is - how can you justify copyrighting your pork with pirated software? Cmon - for a mere R100 a month you can get the real software. (Damn - I wish I got commission on this) Secondly there are chunks of free software programs out there that one can use. Anyway - thats my little rant for the month. :)
