God knew // 2014 2014 started like every year, thankful for the past & anticipating the future. Christina and I didn’t know what 2014 would bring, but God knew. Wife had 3 different jobs and I transitioned out of my full-time position as a worship pastor and creative arts director. We parted ways with a community and friends that we loved. Things were uncertain and we didn’t know what we were doing, but God knew. Wife landed a killer fashion job in the city so we moved to be close, but the company wasn’t a good fit so Christina left after 3 weeks. It didn’t make sense, but God knew. I took a risk and started pursuing photography with 2 things in mind: love people & commit to the hustle. Finances were uncertain, but God knew. Photography gained enough momentum to sustain us this year and is looking good for 2015. Despite my worries, God knew. Wife got hired by Zillow, an amazing company whose work culture is a great fit for her personality. She walks 6 minutes to get to work. We had no clue that she would be at a corporate position, but God knew. We were surrounded by friends and family who continually loved, encouraged, and prayed for us. We didn’t know how we could be so blessed, but God knew. Wife and I would be able to spend so much time together. It has been the best thing for our marriage. I didn’t know the growth that would be established in our marriage, but God knew. God knew and He was in control. All Glory be to Christ.
