Good and bad news. Good news first. As I was getting ready to leave for work last night, I saw this wad of paper in the bedroom doorway and a foot from the cat tunnel. I thought one of the cats had chewed some paper off of something and just dropped it. Bent down to pick it up and throw it away and saw t was a 10,5 and $1 bill. I hardly ever have cash, so the rare moments I do, if I misplace just $1, I notice it, ( some might call me a tightwad ). But I cannot remember losing $16 at all. Bad news, bout a 1/4 mile from work I saw something in the middle of the road , was sure it was a small cat, there are a couple in that area and its a very busy street, turns out to be a small rabbit, wish it wasnt anything but glad it wasnt a cat.
