Good evening. After talking with my family we concurred and decided not to have a memorial service for mom. She was quite adamant regarding what she wanted and, more importantly, what she didnt want. She told us on numerous occasions that she didnt want anybody crying over her or mourning her dead body. She was very insistent and sometimes animated. She even prepaid for her cremation back in 1998. Im the same way when it comes to accolades and attention. I think its important that we respect her wishes. I am going to write my own testimonial on her page of the funeral homes website. I will post that info soon. I would again like to thank you all for your well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. It means a lot. We have the best friends. God Bless You.
