Good morning everyone. It’s Another Year of Reflection. A little poem that came to me as I sit here this morning contemplating the past 8 years of my life since David has passed away. I am truly blessed to have known David and spent that part of my journey with him. He taught me that I am okay just the way I am. I don’t need to change for anyone and I’m lovable and he loved with more than he loved life itself. What an honour to have been loved that Unconditionally. I carry on this legacy that he left with me to whoever I come in contact with. I’m grateful for all my lessons be them happy or sad for they make me who and what I am. I’ve become a strong woman who is much wiser for having gone through many trials and tribulations. That won’t stop as long as I live here on Planet Earth, so I’m going to pray my way through this life and stay close to God and my beloved David who has taken his place in God’s Kingdom as an angel. My Beloved It’s been 8 years since you went away My heart is remembering you today I feel you near just like I always do Because we share a love that is so true. My David, I know you help me through My brand new journey in living life anew You send me messages all the time To let me know that I’m doing fine I light a candle keeping your spirit bright I send up prayers through the day and night As I know your soul is still growing strong Thank you for carrying me right along We will meet again some day that’s true Thank you for sending me somebody new That loves me and cherishes me with his heart As you know he will certainly do his part Life is so strange as strange as can be Sometimes it’s confusion makes it hard to see How the blessings unfold in spite of our ways Yet we can be thankful each and every day All of it contributes to our highest good Walking the best path we know we should With peace and joy and love in our hearts Thank you Lord and David for this brand new start...
