Gracious and Eternal God our Father, we thank You for this another day. Thank You for life, health, and strength. Thank You for waking us up in our right mind. Thank You for a warm place to sleep. Thank You for food to eat. Father, we have so much to thank You for. We have no complaints this morning. There are so many people, especially believers, who are unhappy. They never have the ability to express happiness for themselves or others. But Father, we live according to Your Word. Your Word declares that You anoint us with the oil of joy. For the spirit of heaviness, You give us a garment of praise. Happiness is a choice and sadly, there are so many who chose to be unhappy. When they see others happy, they find a way to bring that negative spirit and unhappiness to others. Father, teach us and help us to safeguard our joy. Help us to always remember that happiness is our personal choice. We wouldnt allow a person who has a history of hurting children to babysit our child. We would not leave our doors unlocked when we know a robber is on our street. We would not ask a person who has a history of wrecking cars every time they get behind the wheel to be our driver for the day. So, why do we allow negative people to dump their junk on us and rob us of our joy. Father, Your Word declares: The joy of The Lord is my strength. Many people battle with negativity because the enemy has robbed them of their joy, ultimately robbing them of their strength. Oh, but I refuse to allow the enemy to rob me of my joy. I refuse to allow him to rob me of my peace. You have anointed me with the oil of joy. I refuse the allow the enemy to take that from me. Lord, I thank You for joy. Joy in my heart. Joy in my mind. Joy down on the inside, I will safeguard this joy Youve given me. Surround me with positive people. Help me to extract negative people from my life. Surround me with people that will push me to keep moving coward when I want to give up. Surround me with people who will not allow me to resort back to my bad/mean attitude. Surround me with people who will push me when I want to quit. Lord, place positive people on my life. If Im a negative person now, give me the wisdom to surround myself with positive people. I cant be a negative person, surrounded by negative people, Hoping for positive results. Lord, change my surroundings. I thank You for doing it. Thank You for joy. Thank You for peace. I rebuke that negative spirit. I rebuke negativity out of my life, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Wash my mind. Wash my heart. Wash away the negativity that Ive allowed to fester in my life. Today, I choose to walk in the joy Youve given me. I choose to walk in people. If folk want to be silly, theyll have to be silly by themselves today. Im walking in the joy of The Lord today!!!!!........in Jesus Name.....Amen.
