Greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for - TopicsExpress

Greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for his friend. You either serve your country in a military capacity or you do not! The Book of Mormon Prophets would not put their subordinates in any military risk that they were not willing to take themselves. Going to jail for rape and robbery is not serving your country. Dying because of hateful messages is not serving your country. Perhaps you came to terms late in your career; however the damage done to your situation was irreversible perhaps. Today, some of those whites were right to be Leary. Negros have been among some of the most blatantly evil men I have ever known. Military service is a great honor...and privilege and cannot be substitute. The willing to put ones life on the line for Uncle Sam, is a unique spiritual calling in and of itself. Todays veterans perhaps are like many of todays LDS missionaries; they think their two years or their two tours qualifies them for a place somewhere. It qualifies them for more opportunities. For example, my school seems to be very willing to cater to veterans and does. In regards to Mormons being non-patriotic; numerous members of the Quorum served in the militia. That is patriotism. Our belief is as Christ commanded, render unto Caesar that which is Caesars and unto God, that which are Gods. We server our country in the drop of a dime, and are quite proud to do so as we see this liberty truly as a gift from our Heavenly Father; and are honored to serve him through serving it. Muslims take from the state, as my Spanish customers called it; and refuse to serve the country from which the take. That is distasteful, it is disgraceful and hypocritical. You were able to rob and steal to buy crack; why did not you use that money for a ticket back to Africa. America, love it or leave it. I have to admit that my intentions for joining the militia in which I served for six honorable years, I did not do it for patriotism. My service was for the purpose of getting the GI bill; and tuition waiver. However, I quickly came to love to serve and to appreciate and see the view point of the real patriots; and to have more empathy. Empathy that they could see in the life Id live. From which true love and true respect and friendship has developed. Despite the fact it was a time of peace...I serve. Tuition waiver at any state university. That is a great benefit. Perhaps the definition of service should be revisited. It seems that veterans expect a mansion on the hill. If they stayed in the military serving on some other capacity, perhaps that would be their best bet. However, people get hurt in business all the time. Roofing contracting, which provides and awesome and important service is some of the most dangerous work on the planet. Frankly, you either served in the military or you did not. You were either willing to die for your country or you were not! Un-American because I dont think sucking your black dick is a privilege; I think not! Serving my country and offering up my life in replace of its liberty is as American as they come my leach of a friend! You wear your ignorance like a badge of honor and you call that being cool. - Sidney Poitier ow.ly/wrcXZ
