Guy in Shorts 4/27/14 Killington Conditions Cloud covered summit never really cleared and stayed foggy for the first scheduled closing of the K1 gondola. Back to the Superstar pod of a dozen runs for Monday. Variable was the word of day as all types of ski spring skiing could be found. Summit was 30 degrees in the morning with scattered snow showers adding to the 4 inches of perfect wet repair powder that covered the high ground. New snow covered and stayed put on any bare ground allowing all lines to skied again. Few obeyed the ropes as the natural was so much fun. Lower East Fall improved as the day wore on. Canyon trails are in top shape and now reserved for those willing to move uphill. Small Sunday crowd was a bigger turnout than Saturday. Off on a work break until the May Day Race on Thursday. Grade -Varied from C to A with a B average. Quote of the Day - Has anyone seen my red camera with todays pictures?
