Yep, director Paul W.S. Anderson - whos been involved with all five movies - is back forResident Evil 6and the wheels for the adaptation are well and truly in motion. After the release of the first flick in 2002, the three sequels each grossed more than their predecessor, topping out at nearly $300 million forResident Evil: Afterlife. Though the last installment,Residence Evil: Retribution, fell a few bucks short, it still raked in a whopping $240 million worldwide. With that said, more than a few people will be sad to see this franchise wrapped... And Im one of them. Another one of those people is, most probably, Anderson himself.
