Had an opportunity to help out the Coast Guard yesterday on Lake Erie. There were some yackers out about 2 miles from shore , two ladies had flipped over,and were out of their yack, couldnt get back in. We spotted them way off and wondered what was going on. We motored over, got next to the one lady, grabbed on to her and held her till coast guard could get there and toss her a line, and pull them aboard her vessel. We grabbed her yack and pulled it aboard my boat. Went aver to the other lady and did the same. Followed Coast guard in with yacks on board and in tow! Im not sure what they were doing that far out in 4 ft. waves and 6 swells not to mention that cold of water. Could have ended up really bad for those two!
