Had the pleasure of visiting the Childrens Holocaust Museum this morning with a group of out-of-state journalists. The group has been touring the Chattanooga area for a couple of days. Today they visited Lodge Manufacturing, the Holocaust Museum and the Coke Ovens in Dunlap. I think the plan is for some of them to visit other sites in Marion County tomorrow. Great publicity outreach to those who dont already know the gems in our little corner of the world. Thanks to Jenni Veal, Tourism Coordinator with the Southeast TN Tourism Association. Thanks to Walker Henley and Lodge Manufacturing. Thanks to Linda Hooper, Whitwell Middle School staff and students. And a very special thanks to Cindy Day and Dutch Maid Bakery for donating wonderful snack boxes, filled with bakery goodies to die for! I love Marion County!
