Half way through my first week with students and the verdict is… I love it! I love the school. The staff are awesome, the principal is super supportive, and my kids are just amazing… Its going to be a lot of work and an uphill battle learning all the gifted framework and the marzano stuff that Ive missed out on being in private school, but it doesnt seem so scary with such an amazing group of people to work with. And, the kids really seem to want to be there… and want to learn. Its a nice change from all the behavior challenges Ive faced in my last few positions. Hoping this one sticks for a long while.
