Hallo friend, Kindly take your time and read the following. Grace Omondi, is a former street woman and the founder of Neema land queens and kings. Having gone through heart breaking life experience, she ended up in Nairobi streets with her 3 babies. Two boys and a girl. What she saw and went through in the Nairobi back streets, made her make a decision to shelter the most vulnerable right their in her {maskani} corner. Grace made that move when she found a kid who was barely 1 years raped and in pain. She told me that kids, girls, boys and women screams are heard at night in those dark streets every other day. She was not in a position to help everyone because she and her own kids were vulnerable too. All she could do is take the small kids and hide them in the corner she used as her home. Fortunately one morning a pastor found her and the rest is history. At the moment she has over 60kids and registered by the Kenyan government as a children home for orphans registration no 000565. Why the long story? Grace is calling for your help after her land lady gave her a notice to vacate from one place they have known as home for almost 8 years. Well wishers and donors have helped her since she started in 2003 to date. Unfortunately the money given is used to settle so many other expenses, and pay rent too. Many of us are parents imagine having 60 kids. The rent arrears have though pilled to more than ksh484,000. The land lady has been patient but she has decided to vacate them. I am organizing a fundraising event for them as the kids launch a cd and sell some art crafts that they can make. The talent is great. Dear ones kindly support this kids in whatever way possible, right now we are looking for a free venues, fundraising ideas, a way to reach some Kenyan celebs maybe they can help us fundraise, anything that can help Neemaland.
