Happy New Year Ladies!!!! Its a brand new year and a brand new year means a brand new start! Our “Yearly Kick Off Meet & Greet” will be held on January 22, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the SLCC gym. We will be putting together our vision boards for 2015. What is a vision board? A vision board is simply a collage of pictures or representations of things you want to be, do or have in your life. You can use magazine cut outs, drawings, writings, photos, or any other embellishments that can remind you of your goals. The theory is that that you bring about positive change by focusing positive thoughts and energy on the things you want to attract. The beauty in creating a vision board, is that it’s entirely your own. It consists of every image, or word or sentence that you envision for yourself in your life. We’re finally taking up knitting, or we’re breaking that bad habit, getting organized. We’re deciding to be more open to new ideas, or to spend more time with family. We’re planning a trip to Disney World with our family. Perhaps there is a picture of an open door, symbolizing you leaving your current job, and opening the door to new possibilities. Maybe there is a picture of a piggy bank, reminding you to save more money. It is entirely your own vision. We’re getting off the fence today, ladies! We’re getting unstuck, and we’re making that decision to chase the dream this year. Also ladies this year we will be reading and studying the book “I Say a Prayer for Me” by Stancie Anderson.
