Happy Sunday Morning/Evening! I would like to take this time to salute two great souls that brighten the paths of their community so much and all others that cross their paths. My lovely friends that live in Silver Springs, New Mexico. Now you all know my love for the desert SW, so hope you enjoy these photos that they take daily. I have included a poem that you have seen of mine a couple of other times, but feel it fits my feelings about the desert. So I dedicate the poem today to Tom Vaughan and his wonderful wife, Sandy Feutz. Their spirituality speaks for itself in there works of art taking great photo shots of everything interesting possible. PALE MOON RISING Pale moon rises above mountains high. Desert shadows underneath a star strewn sky, Ghostly, moves with the breeze Singing softly in the trees. A wandering stream glistens in the night As a flock of wild geese take flight , Wings spread, silhouetted against the light. A fragile balance, Nature holds her own, While beauty carves her magic, Not only in stone, But in every chance, Every glance of the bow Strung to the rhythm of each heart beat. Now the grasslands wet with dew Perfume purple dawn anew. As mornings splendor washes away Sleep from her eyes to greet the glorios New day. Lorena M. Johnson ©
