He is going to kill me for posting this.... I said to Jeff Why cant you just move on, maybe GVPD is not where you should be, there are other jobs out there. His reply Because my Officers and other people depend on me, and Im kind of like their voice of reason. I said Does one department hinge on one person. His reply No, but Im here because I care for the Officers and feel responsible for them and how this Police Department is ran. Someone please explain to me why you would not want someone like that as your Chief of Police. Someone who has been with the same department for 23 years and cares so much. I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of the calls, texts, prayers and messages of encouragement we have received. It means so much. Please continue to pray for there will be decisions to be made ahead. No telling what 2015 will have in store for us.
