Heads up! I really want to boost the signal on this as loudly as I can. Chances are, many of you from the old school Coilhouse crew know Suzanne Forbes by reputation. Its highly likely some of you know her personally! For the better part of a decade, Suzanne has drawn pictures of hundreds of people in the vibrant Bay Area communities, doing what they love most, with the people they care about. The drawings were made live, usually with Suzanne just a few feet away, in ink - a permanent record of an evanescent moment. She drew people she knew, with love, and people she didnt know, with delight in their beauty and character and style. Now shes moving to Berlin, and this is your last chance to get a piece of original artwork documenting Bay Area countercultural history. Ive been an admirer of Suzannes for years. Shes not just an artist, shes an archivist and a documentarian and curator. This sale is a way for her to support herself and her new life in a way thats especially warm-fuzzy-making for both buyer and seller.
