Health Insurance question: SO. I was still employed at the green apron when I went to have lab work done on my blood for school in early May. My health insurance was paid through the month of June. Today I received an Explanation of Benefits stating my insurance received the claim July 12 (twelve days after I am no longer covered), and completed processing it August 1. So instead of a notice that says something like "yah this is a formality your lab work was covered," it says they covered $1.47 (and the sent me a check) and that the amount I will owe on my own is $1721. (Big eyes and jaw drops). Someone tell me how to proceed.
