Hello Everyone, I have been assigned as the Donations Branch Section Leader over watching all donation units. As expected we have developed the Incident Command Structure that will enable us to transition in taking on rebuilding and relief efforts allowing support government agencies to move on to other tasks. Communications of needs will first be moved up to the Public Information Office (PIO) before publicly being posted or broadcasting anywhere. This is to have all media and informational sites on the same page. We understand everyones enormous hearts want to do so much for the Victims of Weed and our goal is to give everyone that chance to support our fellow citizens. Please continue to refer to this page for most recent updates. Continue Volunteering and with the financial support. We ask that you use weed.recovers.org to make any donations. The City of Weed asks that you donate to the Shasta Regional Community Foundation because it is the most direct in funneling funds to Weed residents without the fees. We are working on a Master list and a central drop site for all donations. This information will be released as soon as tonight. Again, thank you all!
