Hello Family and Friends. I am reaching out to you all today to ask for help of those who would be willing and able to do so. My daughter Katlyn Paynter is in show choir at Fairfield City Schools and this year she is in 2 show choirs, Pure Elegance (the all girls show choir) and Choraliers (one of the leading showchoirs around). As many of you know it is very expensive to be in show choir, but they do offer many opportunities to work or fundraise for money to help pay for some of the expenses. So here is my request; they offer us opportunity to work at the Renaissance Festival every Saturday and Sunday from August 30th - October 19th. Shifts are 9:45 AM - 6 :15 PM, we work at 2 different food courts were they serve turkey legs and foot long hot dogs and baked potatoes and stuff. we work out front taking the orders and money and there are people in bake prepping most of the food. It can be as fun as you decide to make it. The people at the festival do ask that whoever works trys to wear clothing that looks a little on the renaissance side (puffy shirts, peasant type looking dresses, skirts) I wouldnt spend money to do it but if you have anything in your closet that would work pull it out and make it work. Anyway, if anyone can do a shift (or 92 or 3) let me know and I will help you get signed up under Katlyns name for that. She gets $36/person per shift worked credited toward her account.
