Hello Trailblazer Families! Don’t forget to set your clocks BACK this weekend! Safety: • THANK YOU PARENTS! Our Afternoon Car Rider line is moving much more smoothly! Please remember to let Ms. Karen or the person who is taking names for Early Car Riders know which child you are picking up, if another child is staying for a program. This Thank you for helping us improve our efficiency! • Please remember, if you are entering the building during the school day, we are required to see a picture ID. Thank you for helping keep our kids safe! Attendance: • Please remember that if you check your child out early, it does count as a tardy. Also, if you cannot avoid it and are going to the doctor, simply ask for a note, so we can make sure the tardy or absence is excused. Student Achievement: • Teachers and students are engaged in lots of learning activities! We are excited to learn about our veterans and will be having a Veterans Day Assembly on November 7. • UPCOMING MATH EVENT! We will be hosting a MATH NIGHT at Valu-Market on Tuesday, November 19 from 6:00 - 7:30 p. Keep your eyes peeled for this great activity, more information will be coming home soon. From the FRC: • Holiday Assistance: If you are in need of holiday assistance (or know someone who does), please see Ms. Lowery in the FRC. Ms. Lowery is at CES on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of most weeks. If you need more information, please feel free to call Ms. Lowery at CES 869-7412 or 640-3541. UPCOMING EVENTS: • November 4: Make Up Picture Day • November 5: Archery Meeting, 3-5th grade, 6:00 - 7:00p (Mr. Hall will send more info) • November 7: Veterans Day Assembly • November 8: No School • November 11-15: GRANDPARENTS WEEK AND BOOK FAIR! • November 18 - 22: BOX TOP CHALLENGE! • November 21: Thanksgiving Meal in the Cafeteria • November 25, 6:00p: McPrincipals Night at McDonalds! • November 27 - 29: Thanksgiving Break PLAYGROUND UPDATE: • Were chipping away at the $22,000 that we need for the playground! We now need about $17,000 to make it happen. Thanks for your support and assistance is us reaching our goal. Thank you for all you do to support us here at Crossroads. Were just getting started!
