Hello Woodson Terrace friends. My band Anonymous Johnson is playing at Woodson Terrace Days this Sunday the 20th. from 1 til 4 in the afternoon during the car show. Three of the five of us are from the area. I grew up in Woodson Terrace on Trefore Ave. and went to St. William grade school. My buddies Rich and Andy Cole (lead guitar/vocals and bass/vocals) grew up in St. John on Marvin Ave and went to Marvin grade school. We have been playing off and on together since we were teenagers. Playing this event has been on all of our bucket lists and since we are getting older we are glad to be scratching this one off. We play classic rock/country rock and blues and look forward to entertaining you. Make it a weekend - all of the acts are top notch and there will be plenty of food, drink, and activities on top of the entertainment to make it a great time. Head up to the upper pavilion and grab a pitcher or two of draft with the proceeds going to the Anthony Armstrong 88 Foundation. Anthony was an old friend to many including me who passed away way too soon. Hope to see you up there - stop on by and say hello.
