Here at Lost Lake to hear my client play! Come on down... Here are the details: “You’re looking for something new? Something yet unheard of? Kendall Burks delivers.” Catch him at Lost Lake Jan 29th with Jade Rudolph and Jeff Bostic! Wednesday, January 29, 2014 8:00pm – 2am $5 AT THE DOOR 21+ **KENDALL BURKS** (Blend FM). Described as producing “…almost cinematic audio landscapes” and “…sounds to day-dream to and inspire” (The SounpyGato Show), multi-instrumentalist and composer Kendall Burks incorporates a wide variety of influences into his nearly symphonic, guitar-based music. Whether it’s the contrapuntal flow of Bach, the interlocking patterns of Balinese Gamelan music, or the energetic sophistication of Radiohead, he manages to weave an original yet accessible sound world. -Classically trained as both a composer and guitarist, Kendall Burks graduated in 2012 with a degree in Composition from CU Boulder, where he won both the Undergraduate Composition Award and the Edward M. Grossi Scholarship for Excellence in Music Composition. https://facebook/kendallburksmusic reverbnation/kendallburks kendallburks/ **JADE RUDOLPH** Jades music is a cross of this and that and what youve heard and what you havent. His hope is to reach every heart out there with his music in whatever way helps them personally! He has just recently moved back to the Denver area to pursue his audio engineering degree and he will be playing at a venue near you throughout the year! He was the lead singer of Denvers Any Great Mission for several years before he took a hiatus in order for his daughter to be born! His influences are pretty much anything to do with rock and roll and he was also classically trained for three years at Western State in Colorado for vocal performance. He has recently been very busy helping promote other bands but is wanting to get his own music out there now! soundcloud/jade-rudolph reverbnation/jaderudolph **JEFF BOSTIC** Musical inspiration wasn’t far from home for Jeff. He was born in Chicago but grew up west of Minneapolis, and since his dad was an accomplished guitar and piano player, Jeff was raised as more than just a die-hard Vikings fan. Starting piano and violin lessons at the age of 4, music was always around, whether strumming a guitar with his dad or a vocal group at school. Sadly, at 15, Jeff took the unfortunate passing of his dad as inspiration to carry the torch, and he used that motivation to further dedicate himself. At 18, while on tour in Europe with his college choir group, he was asked if he wanted to try bass. It became his instrument of choice, enabling him access to the grooves & funk chops of his favorites, Stevie Wonder, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten & more. In 2001, he ventured to Colorado with Blues is Blood, and quickly acclimated to the music scene, playing bass, keyboards and singing with numerous bands, artists and studio sessions. His resume includes blues, classic rock, pop and R&B and opening opportunities with such artists as Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Gavin Degraw and more. His strong contributions of songwriting, vocals and thunderin’ bottom end grooves are the anchor of the BlenderCats. jeffbostic/ reverbnation/jeffbosticmusic https://facebook/JeffreyJamesBostic Come early for awesome happy hour specials from 5pm-8pm. $2 pbrs and $2 wells!
