Here is another great opportunity for our group if anyone is interested!: Basically, we’re looking for students to propose artistic projects based on the theme “How does it feel to be a problem?” There is funding available to produce the project as well as a $500 stipend per project. This is the same theme as the One Book One Campus book for freshmen, but for Open Space students can interpret this idea any way they want. The theme could be a jumping off point for artists, actors, writers, singers, spoken word artists, dancers, filmmakers, fashion designers, etc. to bring an idea to life in one of Millersville’s performance spaces. I thought with your group’s creative spirit and interest in social justice, it might be right up your alley! ☺ If you think any of your members might want to come up with a project, could you please announce this to your roster? I think once the project gets off the ground it will continue through word of mouth… but first it needs to get off the ground!
