Here is my video on how to be fashionable for young men. Thank you shaun smith for jump starting my fashion. And thank you Sifu (Pete Pajil) for teaching me how to be a man and being stylish himself! How to become fashionable Hello all. Today I am going to talk about fashion and how to be fashionable. Fashion is always changing with the times. We must stay current. Generally speaking older men stop paying attention to what’s current and dress more with a classic style. Thus what I am teaching about fashion probably only applies to younger people. What got me into fashion was salsa dancing. The beauty of the dance and the latin culture contain in it a sense of pride in oneself. It’s a time to shine. When I got into salsa dancing I decided to change up my wardrobe. What I am going to teach are not the specifics of fashion since fashion is always changing, but more of general guidelines and how to’s. I did many hours of research in fashion. I spent probably a total of 30 hours in research and shopping around. I read up on askmen and GQ magazines. I spent hours looking at well-dressed celebrities. I talked to guys who are fashionable themselves. This is what I came up with. There’s what looks nice and then there’s what looks hot, fun, fresh etc. You want to create a specific look. Each set in my wardrobe can be categorized as: fresh, fun, sharp, preppy, slighty dorky/vintage yet cool. And I’m not making this up on my own. Girls have made many comments on my wardrobes. What all the wardrobes have in common though is that they each have a look. Each comes with accessories that give a finishing touch. After doing much research, you want to start hitting the stores. Have a combination of clothes in mind before doing so. Hit up fashionable stores and try on different combinations. Ask beautiful ladies in the store or beautiful store clerks for their opinion. You can even ask fashionable gay guys. Just be careful to look straight if you are straight. If you are gay then that’s cool too. I have nothing against gay guys. I’m friends with some. When you look in the mirror, it is very important not to settle for a lesser wardrobe. After trying many combinations, when you hit the magic combinations, your look should bring a smile to your face. If it brings a smile to your face as well as the store clerks, then you can be sure that the other ladies you meet elsewhere will like it too. Make sure to get other’s honest opinions too. This takes some dedication, but keep at it!
